Connor is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor in the Commonwealth of Virginia. He has a BS in Counseling and Human Services as well as a MA in Clinical Mental Health counseling from Liberty University with experience working in inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, community based services, as well outpatient and substance abuse outpatient settings. In the past, he has worked with both adolescents and adults with autism, ADHD, OCD, depression, anxiety disorders, substance abuse, marital/family conflict, as well as trauma-based diagnoses such as PTSD.

Connor believes in working with each individual’s personal strengths and characteristics to assist them in identifying and changing thought and behavior patterns that keep them stuck in negative cycles. He passionately believes in each individual’s ability to develop the necessary insight and skills to make meaningful change in their life and work towards becoming their ideal self. Connor primarily utilizes CBT, DBT skills training, and EMDR to assist individuals in developing adequate coping skills to manage painful emotions and address negative beliefs about themselves that prevent them from living a fulfilling, purpose-driven life.

Connor is married to his wonderful wife, and they have one child. He enjoys spending time with his family, connecting with friends over coffee, TV and movies, exercising, as well as taking regular personal quiet time.
